Homegrown Theatre Camp is a partnership between First Ensemble artists Mackenzie Davenport, Sasha Sepahpur and our friends at Blixt Locally Grown. We offer young people scripts, exercises and knowledge so that they can make a play in their own homes. Our videos and resources are free, and can be accessed at any time. Our camps provide structure, covering performance techniques, script analysis and tech tips, in a simple week-long format, and can work around any kids’ schedule.
Homegrown Theatre Camp offers free, digital arts education experiences to young people. We are able to offer these opportunities thanks to the support of the Nebraska Arts Council, Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Beyond School Bells, Nebraska Children & Families Foundation, Pearle Francis Finigan Foundation, Union Bank & Trust, and generous individual donors.
